On March 31, the world celebrates International Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) — a day to uplift transgender people, raise awareness of the discrimination they face, and honor their contributions to society.
So often, TDOV is filled with heavy conversations about struggles and challenges — and while those are real, especially now, so is trans joy. This year, we’re gathering stories of the moments that made you feel affirmed, free, and truly yourself.
We’ll be sharing a selection of these moments in a special newsletter on March 31 to highlight the beauty, resilience, and joy within trans lives.
Want to share your story?
It can be big or small — whatever feels meaningful to you.
You can use your name, a pseudonym, or stay anonymous — your comfort comes first.
Submissions are open until Friday, March 28.
Important: These stories will only be used for this article and will not be shared elsewhere. Submissions may be edited for brevity while preserving their meaning.
Let’s make this a day of visibility filled with love, light, and celebration. We can’t wait to hear your stories!
